Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Technical Lead in Track to lead multi-disciplinary rail engineering projects in Ireland and beyond, including major schemes such as Dublin Metrolink. You will drive design coordination, uphold health and safety standards, and mentor delivery teams.

Based in our Belfast, Naas or Dublin offices, you will work within the Track Engineering Service Line, collaborating with national and international clients to deliver high-quality rail solutions.

Qualifications

• Track lead role delivering multi-disciplinary projects.
• Advanced knowledge of track engineering on heavy and light rail.
• Experience with Iarnród Éireann/Irish Rail or similar operators.
• Experience across full lifecycle from feasibility to detailed design.
• Strong understanding of CDM and health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate track engineering delivery and resolve complex problems.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships to achieve project outcomes.
• Support major projects in Ireland and abroad, including Dublin Metrolink.
• Promote health, safety and welfare on projects and cultivate a safety culture.
• Lead design coordination activities and promote digitalisation to aid delivery.
