Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Ireland is seeking a Track Technical Lead to oversee track engineering delivery and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams on major rail projects such as the Dublin Metrolink.

The role emphasizes safety, design coordination, and stakeholder engagement across Ireland and globally. The successful candidate will bring track engineering leadership with heavy and light rail experience, plus Chartered or equivalent professional registration.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering multi-disciplinary projects as a Track Engineering Lead.
• Advanced knowledge of track engineering on heavy and light rail.
• Experience delivering projects with Irish Rail or similar operators.
• Strong experience across lifecycle from feasibility to detailed design and implementation.
• Understanding of health and safety regs (CDM, Irish regs) and safe-by-design approaches.
• Chartered or incorporated registration with a relevant engineering institution or ability to register.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and coordinate track engineering delivery and resolve complex problems.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships to achieve project outcomes.
• Support major projects in Ireland and globally, e.g., Dublin Metrolink.
• Promote health and safety and instill a safety culture in the team.
• Lead design coordination activities and promote digitalisation to aid delivery.
