Job summary

WSP in Ireland seeks a Technical Lead in Track to command multi-disciplinary delivery across rail projects. The role requires leading teams, advancing track engineering for heavy and light rail, and coordinating design with a safety-first approach. Dublin, Belfast or Naas/Dublin base with hybrid work options.

You will engage clients like Irish Rail, Transport Infrastructure Ireland and other partners, driving lifecycle delivery from feasibility to construction with a focus on digitalisation.

Qualifications

• Lead multi-disciplinary track engineering projects delivering across lifecycle stages.
• Advanced knowledge of track engineering for heavy and light rail schemes.
• Experience with Iarnród Éireann/Irish Rail or similar client engagement.
• Experience across feasibility, detailed design and implementation phases.
• Understanding of health and safety regs (CSM/CDM) and safe-by-design.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with a relevant engineering institution.

Responsibilities

• Lead track engineering delivery and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships to drive project outcomes.
• Support major projects in Ireland and globally, including Dublin Metrolink.
• Promote health, safety and welfare and instill safety culture on projects.
• Lead design coordination activities and promote digitalisation to aid delivery.
