Job summary

WSP in Ireland is seeking enthusiastic Engineering Managers to lead the technical delivery of our rail projects across Ireland, with opportunities in GB and overseas. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, oversee client and stakeholder relationships, promote health and safety, and mentor junior managers while driving design coordination and digitalisation.

Based in Ireland, you will shape delivery for national infrastructure clients such as Iarnród Éireann and Transport Infrastructure

Qualifications

Proven track record delivering multi-disciplinary rail projects as Engineering Manager or in similar leadership roles.
Engineering specialism in railway design (Track & Civil, Electrification & Power, Signalling & Telecommunication).
Strong understanding of safety regulations (CSM, CDM, Irish Construction Regs) and safe-by-design practice.

Responsibilities

Lead, direct, and coordinate multi-disciplinary technical teams and resolve complex problems.
Manage client and stakeholder relationships to achieve project outcomes.
Promote health, safety and welfare and instill a strong safety culture on delivery teams.
Lead development and management of client requirements and assurance outputs.
Lead design coordination activities including integrated design reviews and digitalisation.
Collaborate with Project and Design Managers to ensure technical delivery of rail projects.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to aspiring engineering managers.
