Job summary

BMS Performance is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business and manage client relationships. The role is hybrid, located in South Dublin, with a focus on outbound selling to decision-makers and generating vacancies for recruiters.

You may come from any background, including graduate entrants, door-to-door, car or retail sales. What matters most is ambition, attitude, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume outbound calling and prospecting.
• Excellent phone communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ambitious and motivated by commission with a target-driven mindset.
• Strong resilience and comfortable handling rejection.
• Willing to learn and develop in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Making high volumes of outbound calls to prospective clients.
• Identifying companies that are recruiting and speaking with relevant decision-makers.
• Building relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
• Generating new vacancies for our recruitment consultants.
• Managing and developing existing client accounts.
• Arranging client meetings and presenting our recruitment services.
• Negotiating terms and winning new business.
• Working towards structured daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Working closely with our recruitment consultants to ensure client requirements are met.
