Job summary

Hosting Ireland, part of team.blue, seeks a Customer Support Technician in Waterford. You will assist customers with queries, billing and technical issues, while operating in a flexible, hybrid setup after initial training.

The role emphasizes strong communication, IT literacy and problem solving, with opportunities to upsell and collaborate with the .IE Registry. Training is provided and you will join a diverse, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Strong IT skills including internet technologies.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, etc.
• Knowledge of cPanel and web design is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with front line customer technical support and billing queries via email and phone.
• Make outbound calls to customers based on product profile and project-based lists from the line manager.
• Upsell existing customers at point of service renewal.
• Process overflow/cover for inbound sales queries by phone and email.
• Work closely with the .IE Registry activity to upsell new domains and product attachment.
• Process .IE domain registration applications and customers’ documentation.
