Job summary

CareerWise Recruitment in Co. Cork seeks a HVAC Service Technician to service and repair equipment on client sites for high standards of customer care. You will diagnose issues, perform PPM, and handle warranty work while reporting on outcomes. A company van is provided and a competitive salary with subsistence after 5 hours.

The role requires strong customer service skills, ability to work with service desk and operations, and proficiency in diagnostic tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing industry an advantage.
• People and communication skills with a positive mindset.
• Able to cover standby and call outs on scheduled basis.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Drivers licence; right to work in country.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose system problems when servicing products and equipment on customer sites.
• Attend sites for Planned Preventative Maintenance, breakdowns, warranty work, hire and commissioning.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as a trusted contact.
• Collaborate with service desk, sales and operations teams to share insights.
• Use diagnostic software and hand-tools following specs to diagnose/repair units.
• Generate reports on completed invoiced work orders.
• Communicate updates with supervisors and regional managers to drive improvements.
