Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager for an established Irish HVAC distributor. You will drive new business, build relationships with consultants and contractors, and present HVAC solutions across Dublin and nationwide.

With 3+ years in construction and a background in sales or BD, you will strategize to meet sales targets while collaborating with internal teams to support customer requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in the construction industry.
• Previous business development or sales experience in HVAC/ventilation.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies.
• Excellent reporting, organisational and time-management skills.
• Focused, goal-oriented and independent worker.
• Engineering or Building Services qualification is advantageous.
• Resident in Ireland with travel flexibility across the country.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the commercial and domestic HVAC and ventilation markets.
• Build and manage relationships with M&E consultants, main contractors and mechanical contractors.
• Present technical HVAC solutions and product offerings to prospective and existing customers.
• Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to achieve agreed sales objectives.
• Work closely with the internal team to ensure customer requirements are understood and effectively supported.
• Monitor business development activity, prepare reports and provide regular updates on progress and results.
• Manage a geographical territory focused primarily on Dublin, with travel throughout Ireland when required.
