Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment in Ireland is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow and retain business across Munster, engaging with mechanical contractors, consultant engineers, architects and other stakeholders.

You will manage existing relationships, identify new opportunities via planning activity, and prepare tenders and proposals while collaborating with internal teams. Bus travel across Munster is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, account management or a similar commercial role.
• Ideally, experience in HVAC, mechanical, engineering, construction or building services.
• Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of contractors, tenders or construction projects is advantageous.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel across Munster.

Responsibilities

• Grow and retain business across Munster, working with key stakeholders.
• Identify new opportunities by monitoring planning activity and construction projects.
• Develop relationships with mechanical contractors on major projects.
• Prepare and follow up on tenders, quotations and commercial proposals.
• Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to deliver customer solutions.
• Attend customer meetings and industry events in the Munster region.
