We're hiring an HR Generalist to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a fixed-term contract of with a handover from the current post-holder before they go.
It's a hands-on generalist role covering the full breadth of HR across the business. You'll be stepping into an established function, so we're looking for someone who can pick things up quickly, keep them running smoothly, and be a safe pair of hands while the current HR lead is away.
Be the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR queries, policies and day-to-day issues.
Own the employee lifecycle during the contract: onboarding, contracts, records and offboarding.
Coordinate recruitment: job postings, scheduling, candidate communication and offers.
Keep HR administration accurate and compliant.
Support managers on performance, probation and employee relations.
Provide accurate information to support payroll processing.
Keep existing HR processes and policies running, and stay on top of Irish employment law.
Hold the fort on any ongoing people projects handed over before the leave begins.
Solid HR generalist experience across the areas above, ideally in a company of a similar size.
Someone who can hit the ground running: this is a cover role, so there's limited time to ramp.
A working knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
Strong organisation and the ability to manage a broad remit independently.
Approachable and trusted, someone people are comfortable bringing issues to.
Available to commit for the full contract term, ideally starting in time for a proper handover.
A CIPD qualification, or working towards one, is welcome but not essential if the experience is there.
Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long term in the location specified or currently hold a valid appropriate long term work Visa to apply.
