Job summary

ProAmpac, a leading global flexible packaging company, is seeking a proactive HR Generalist for maternity leave cover. Based in Donegal, you will support HR processes across the function for ~300 employees and report to the HR Manager - Ireland.

You will handle HR queries, workforce planning, recruitment support, onboarding, performance processes, policies, and data protection. The ideal candidate has strong admin skills, 2 years HR experience, and CIPD or HR degree.

Qualifications

• 2 years HR experience preferred.
• CIPD qualification or HR degree preferred.
• Strong admin and data-entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as first HR point of contact, replying clearly and promptly.
• Support HR team in delivering on HR’s strategic priorities.
• Lead the workforce planning process with managers to assess future needs.
• Provide employment law guidance and policy advice.
• Assist line managers with disciplinary and welfare matters.
• Coordinate recruitment activities from role design to offers.
• Assist onboarding and job advertisements design.
• Maintain electronic personnel files in line with data protection.
