Job summary

St John of God University Hospital in Ireland is seeking an organised Training & HR Coordinator to provide HR admin and training coordination across the organisation, including induction and mandatory training and compliance.

You will work with HR colleagues and managers, maintain training records, manage education funding, and support recruitment, employee relations and HR projects in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a busy HR office is desirable.
• 2 years’ experience in a training role.
• Degree in HR or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with HRIS and online learning systems desirable.
• Knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Experience in continuous improvement.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, organisation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR administration and training coordination across the organisation.
• Induction and compliance training management and coordination.
• Work with HR colleagues, line managers and employees to support training needs.
• Develop inductive materials and programme documentation.
• Support compliance with mandatory regulatory, statutory and role-specific training.
• Monitor training completion and follow up with employees and managers.
• Maintain training matrices and reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Ownership for educational funding applications and processing of related expenses.
• Provide recruitment support and HR project participation.
• Provide cover for the HR Coordinator role as required.
