Job summary

BHA Construction in Ireland is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function across sites and head office. You will own recruiting, people management, and change initiatives for a fast-growing residential contractor, reporting to the Operations Director and collaborating with senior management.

Responsibilities include end-to-end recruitment, performance management, policy development, onboarding, compensation, HR reporting, and staff retention.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR/Business or related discipline.
• CIPD qualification or working towards it preferred.
• 5+ years' HR generalist or management experience.
• Experience in construction or project-based industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment across site and head office roles.
• Lead people management, performance reviews, and development conversations.
• Drive change initiatives and evolving processes as the business scales.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievances.
• Maintain HR policies and ensure legal compliance in Ireland.
• Oversee compensation, benefits administration, onboarding, and reporting.
• Partner with health & safety on site induction and workforce compliance.
• Support org design and workforce planning with senior management.
