BESTSELLER Ireland is seeking an organised HR People Administrator to support our HR function across Ireland.

You will manage HR systems and records, assist with recruitment, onboarding, payroll and wellbeing initiatives, and provide front‑of‑house support in a busy, friendly team. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

You will work closely with managers to deliver a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR administration and records management.
  • Experience in office administration or reception is advantageous.
  • HR qualification or CIPD study desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain HR systems, personnel files and records, HR documentation and generate HR reports ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters, probation documentation, and employment-related correspondence.
  • Support recruitment activities: posting vacancies, scheduling interviews, screening, onboarding, and induction process.
  • Assist with payroll administration and employee benefits administration.
  • Monitor annual leave, absence, and other employee records.
  • Support managers and employees with HR queries.
  • Assist with performance reviews and probation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Irish employment laws.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes.

We are looking for an organized, proactive, and people-focused HR People Administrator to support our HR function across Ireland. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing exceptional administrative support while helping to deliver a positive employee experience.

The HR People Administrator will provide day-to-day HR and administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate records, compliance, and efficient HR processes. We are looking for an organised, approachable and proactive HR Administrator who is comfortable balancing HR administration with some front-of-house responsibilities. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills, a professional manner and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain HR systems, personnel files and records, HR documentation and generate HR reports ensuring accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters, probation documentation, and employment-related correspondence.
  • Support recruitment activities, including posting vacancies, scheduling interviews, screening, onboarding new hires and coordinating employee induction process.
  • Support with office administration and reception duties such as greeting guests, answering customer queries and taking calls as required.
  • Assist with payroll administration and employee benefits administration.
  • Monitor annual leave, absence, and other employee records.
  • Support managers and employees with HR queries.
  • Assist with performance review and probation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Irish employment legislation.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and wellbeing programmes.
  • Fleet and related management.
  • Digitally minded with IT skills and a keen interest in improving efficiency and processes through technology.
About You
  • Previous HR administration experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in office administration or reception/front-of-house environment would be advantageous.
  • HR qualification or currently studying towards a CIPD or HR-related qualification desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, Teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
