Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment represents a food manufacturing client based in Naas, Co. Kildare, seeking a full-time HR Officer for a permanent, onsite role with probationary flexibility.

The HR Officer will advise on policies, manage recruitment end-to-end, lead meetings with production managers, and deliver inductions while maintaining HRIS records and weekly/monthly reports. Irish employment law knowledge and strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience in manufacturing or operations.
• Experience leading employee relations investigations.
• Knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Advise management and employees on company policies and procedures and answer queries related to employee relations.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from start to finish.
• Lead regular meetings with production managers.
• Deliver new hire inductions and ensure training compliance.
• Maintain and update the HRIS with absences, hires, leavers, payroll updates, etc.
• Produce weekly and monthly HRIS reports and analyses.
• Represent HR in internal meetings and with external vendors.
• Guide managers on employee-related issues.
• Assist with HR projects including performance management, wellbeing programmes, and L&D trainings.

About your New Employer:

Our client is a food manufacturing company based in Naas, Co. Kildare. They are currently looking to bring on a full-time HR Officer on a permanent basis.

This role would be fully onsite, with some flexibility after probation.

About Your New Role:

• Advise management and employees on company policies and procedures and answer queries related to employee relations
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from start to finish
• Lead regular meetings with production managers
• Deliver new hire inductions and ensure that they are compliant with training
• Maintain and update the HRIS system on a regular basis by entering absences, new hires, leavers, payroll updates etc.
• Regular reporting within the HRIS system on a weekly & monthly basis
• Represent HR in internal meetings and with external vendors as needed
• Guide managers on issues related to employees
• Assist with all HR projects and HR processes including performance management, wellbeing programmes, and L&D trainings.

What Skills You Need:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in HR, ideally in manufacturing or operational environment.
• Must have experience leading employee relations investigations for grievances & disciplinaries
• Experience working in a fast paced and hands on HR role
• Working knowledge of Irish employment legislation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently without supervision and strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
