Job summary

Talent-Curve in Monaghan is seeking an experienced HR Manager to take ownership of the HR function in a growing Irish business employing around 100 people.

The role is hands-on and part-time (20 hours/week, Monday to Friday) with payroll backup, recruitment, training and compliance responsibilities. You will work directly with management and employees to shape policies and drive people-focused HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HR Manager or senior HR/generalist.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Experience in recruitment, payroll support and HR administration.

HR Manager Monaghan (Part Time, Permanent) Salary: €30k

Take Ownership of HR in a Growing Irish Business An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of the HR function within a successful, family-owned food manufacturing business employing around 100 people. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where youll work directly with management and employees across the business, managing everything from employee relations and recruitment to payroll support, HR systems, training and compliance.

Working Hours; 20 hours per week - MondayFriday - 4 hours per day

The role:

• Manage the day-to-day HR function and provide practical support to managers and employees.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding and employee processes.
• Provide payroll backup and support when required.
• Take ownership of the Softworks HR system, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
• Advise on employee relations, absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation.
• Coordinate training, inductions and employee development.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
• Review and improve HR processes, systems and policies.
• Provide HR reporting and insights to the Senior Management Team.

About you:

• Previous experience in a HR Manager or senior HR/generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Experience across employee relations, recruitment and HR administration.
• Payroll experience or strong payroll knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, confidential and professional.
• Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities.
• CIPD qualification desirable.
• Experience in food manufacturing/FMCG and Softworks is an advantage.
