Job summary

OC Recruitment is partnering with a well-established organisation in Kildare to recruit an HR Manager for a maternity cover. The role shapes people strategy, drives engagement, and supports growth across strategic and operational HR.

The successful candidate will lead day-to-day HR, manage recruitment and development initiatives, and provide expert guidance on employment legislation to senior management. A CIPD qualification and proven HR leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification or equivalent in HR.
• Proven experience managing HR in fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

While this role is initially to cover a period of maternity leave, the client is very open to keeping the right person on in a full-time permanent position. This is a key role in shaping people strategy, driving employee engagement, and supporting the continued growth of the business. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all day-to-day HR operations across the business

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture

What We're Looking For:

• CIPD qualified with a degree in HR, Business, or a related discipline
• Proven HR management experience within a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to influence at all levels
