Job summary

FRS Recruitment is seeking a diligent HR Officer to support workforce lifecycle processes across recruitment, training, performance management and wellbeing. The role involves advising management on policy, handling employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment law in a busy manufacturing environment.

Based in Ireland with hybrid working: 1 day remote after probation, the position also covers payroll liaison, HR system maintenance and regular reporting on attendance, KPI trends and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in HR in a busy food manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of employment legislation and compliance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with end-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
• Ability to manage multiple HR processes and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Advise management and staff on policy queries and employee relations.
• Complete all HR administration tasks timely.
• Lead bi-weekly meetings with production managers.
• Manage grievance and disciplinary investigations.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Deliver new employee inductions and ensure training compliance.
• Liaise with payroll on recruitment, promotions, leavers, etc.
• Maintain HR system with absence data, hires and payroll changes.
• Extract payroll and attendance KPI reports from the HR system.
• Ensure HR administration and systems stay up to date.
• Undertake HR projects assigned by the HR Manager.
• Guide managers on employee issues.
• Manage weekly and monthly reporting including permit renewals and expiries.
