Job summary

Collins McNicholas Group in Mayo is seeking an HR Generalist to be the primary point of contact for employees and to manage day-to-day HR operations across the business. You will ensure consistent application of policies, processes and guidelines and partner with managers to deliver practical HR solutions.

This role covers employee relations, payroll support, data and compliance, and HR administration, including onboarding, probation tracking and GDPR activities.

Qualifications

• BSc in Human Resources or a relevant discipline.
• 3-5 years' experience in a HR support role, ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Employment Law and experience with employee relations issues.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong IT proficiency and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance to management on HR queries and employee relations issues.
• Support bi-weekly payroll processing and HRIS updates across EMEA.
• Assist with onboarding, probation tracking, contracts, and change communications.
• Maintain confidential HR data and documentation in line with legal requirements.
• Support GDPR activities and organisation of Occupational health assessments.
