Job summary

Dublin Simon Community is seeking a Community Integration Officer to support individuals in accessing housing, services and employment opportunities within Dublin City Centre. You will tailor pathways to each person’s capacity, goals and preferences, helping them build social connections and integrate into their communities.

The role involves safeguarding, risk assessment and collaboration with local partners to expand opportunities.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in relevant fields is required or equivalent experience.
• 2 years’ experience in social care or 1 year as project worker.
• Understanding homelessness and tenancy support needs.
• Focused, adaptable, resilient and client-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored pathways into community services, social enterprises, training, education and employment.
• Align opportunities with client capacity, preferences and development goals.
• Maintain records and case notes in PASS and related systems.
• Coordinate and facilitate meaningful community participation for clients.
• Support clients to build social connections and independence.
