Job summary

Depaul in Dublin is seeking a Community Integration Case Manager under Housing First principles. This permanent role offers a 35-hour work week, with a salary of €39,872.09 per year, reporting to the Deputy Manager.

The post involves coordinating complex support plans and promoting community integration for clients experiencing homelessness. Candidates should have at least 2 years in the homeless sector, with strong case management and inter-agency collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in homelessness sector with at least 1 year coordinating support plans for service users with complex needs.
• Deep understanding of Housing First principles.
• Experience collaborating with voluntary and statutory sector agencies.
• Willingness for lone/off-site work when required.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs with service users and develop workable support plans with regular reviews.
• Promote social inclusion of Housing First clients in local communities.
• Support clients to access local community opportunities and resources.
• Utilise non-clinical community supports to improve wellbeing.
• Develop individualised plans for development, training, work, and meaningful time use.
• Monitor accommodation sustainment, including rent payments, using motivational approaches.
• Establish positive relationships based on respect and independence.
