Job summary

Crosscare seeks a Housing Case Worker for 38.5 hours weekly, on a permanent basis, located at Amiens Street, Dublin. The role includes 24-hour short-term residential support for adults experiencing homelessness, aiming to secure long-term housing with comprehensive supports.

You will work in a team, following the DRHE Pathways Model and delivering a client-centered approach. Reporting to the Deputy Project Leader, the role requires first aid training, dementia awareness, and strong collaboration

Qualifications

• A BA degree or equivalent Level 7 qualification in social care, addiction, mental health, nursing or psychology.
• A minimum Level 6 qualification in Social Care or Addiction is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload with HNA assessment, develop and implement comprehensive support plans.
• Advocate for clients, link to services, and support housing tenure sustainment.
• Assist residents with tenancy agreements, viewings, and rent negotiations.
• Engage with external providers and colleagues to deliver holistic care.

Education

BA in Applied Social Care or related NFQ Level 7 qualification

NFQ Level 6 Social Care or Addiction qualification
