Job summary

Central Hotel Donegal Town is seeking an Hotel Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day hotel operations across all departments and ensure a seamless guest experience. You will supervise and train staff, monitor satisfaction, and implement improvements while controlling costs and ensuring safety standards.

The role involves coordinating across teams, analyzing occupancy and booking trends, and developing SOPs to maintain quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring all departments—front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance—run smoothly and efficiently
• Coordinate and communicate across teams to maintain consistent service standards and a seamless guest experience
• Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a positive work environment and high levels of employee engagement
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address complaints or issues promptly, and implement improvements based on feedback
• Manage budgets, control operational costs, and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff
• Analyze occupancy rates, booking trends, and operational data to optimize performance and resource allocation
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures to maintain quality and efficiency across all services
• Collaborate with senior management to implement strategic initiatives and achieve business goals
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, inventory management, and vendor coordination

Salary from €34k+
