Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is hiring a Food & Beverage Assistant. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to develop important hospitality skills and meet experienced colleagues who can help you grow.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will greet guests by name, know our food & wine, upsell to maximise revenue, and maintain clean bar and restaurant areas. The role demands flexible mornings, evenings and weekends, fluent English, and previous

Qualifications

Previous Bar & Restaurant experience is essential.
Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings & weekends.
Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
Micros experience would be preferable.
Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
Served guests with food and beverage.
