Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to provide friendly and efficient service to hotel guests. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy and meet experienced team members who can help you grow.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Breakfast Manager, you will be part of a friendly team, with opportunities to advance as Dalata promotes from within.

Qualifications

Previous experience is essential.
Role requires flexibility with mornings/evenings and weekends.
Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment is desirable.
Fluent English and excellent communication skills are required.
Micros experience would be preferable.
Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine; be able to make recommendations.
Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
Serve guests with food and beverages.
