Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant for the Breakfast service. You will receive training via the Dalata Academy and have opportunities for growth by promoting from within.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will deliver friendly, efficient service to hotel guests, upsell where appropriate, and maintain a welcoming dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment preferred.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and provide friendly service.
• Know the menu and wine list; be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous, and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue where possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant; serve guests with food and beverage.
