Job summary

Windward Management is seeking a Hotel Accountant / Assistant Financial Controller to join its fantastic team at the Mulranny Park Hotel. In this hands-on finance role, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the hotel's finance function, including daily operational accounting and management accounts.

The ideal candidate should possess relevant qualifications, with 3-5 years finance experience, ideally in hospitality, and must exhibit strong attention to detail. The position offers career development, staff discounts, and meals on duty.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' finance experience; hospitality experience desirable.
• Hands-on with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily income audit and cash, bank & credit card reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices, purchase ledger and supplier payments.
• Manage debtors and credit control.
• Balance sheet and control account reconciliations.
• Provide payroll support and Revenue returns.
• Prepare journals and monthly management accounts.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and annual audit support.
• Monitor purchasing controls and prepare management reports.
• Support all finance office activities as required.

Education

Qualified or part-qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician
