Job summary

Leinster Appointments Ltd seeks an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all finance functions within a hotel setting. You will work with the General Manager and senior team to track KPI performance including wages, GP and departmental margins.

Responsibilities include monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasting, capital project costings, internal control reviews and annual budgeting. ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified professionals with 5+ years post-qualification experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience with multiple systems and ERP exposure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control all aspects of the Finance function of the Hotel.
• Collaborate with General Manager and senior team to ensure KPI visibility (wages, GP, margins).
• Prepare Monthly Management Accounts (P&L, KPI, Balance Sheet, cashflow forecast).
• Lead forecasts for revenue and costs; identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare costings for Capital projects for Head Office approval.
• Monitor internal controls to ensure robustness.
• Maximise profitability through commercial awareness and tight controls.
• Manage cashflows to align with bank schedules.
• Oversee income audit for accuracy and no cash leakage.
• Prepare ad hoc reports for Management and Head Office.
• Prepare annual budgets and support internal audits.
