Job summary

Life Science Recruitment's client, a leading Pharmaceutical Supplier, seeks a Key Account Manager in Ireland to manage hospital accounts for oncology and supportive care products.

You will be the main point of contact for hospital accounts, develop strategic plans, negotiate pricing, and deliver sales targets while ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional customer service; you will report to the Commercial Manager and represent the company at trade shows such as EAHP/NAHPT/HPAI.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve sales and profitability targets aligning with financial objectives.
• Develop and implement a targeted strategic commercial plan for hospital business growth.
• Identify key hospital stakeholders relevant to procurement.
• Engage and collaborate internally to source correctly priced products.
• Manage customer updates and responses promptly.
• Resolve hospital queries regarding ETAs, pricing, or product info.
• Work with Procurement and Customer Support to manage product pipeline.
• Maintain accurate customer records and share information to drive growth.
• Analyze sales data to project sales, profitability, and opportunities.
• Educate colleagues to keep the business informed about trends and products.
• Build and maintain relationships across functional teams.
• Prepare for each sales call with data analysis and action plans.
• Present a professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
• Represent the company at trade shows and conferences (EAHP/NAHPT/HPAI).
• Collaborate with QA to ensure regulatory procedures are followed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for exempt medicinal products.
• Complete GDP training and relevant SOPs.
