Job summary

AstraZeneca Ireland – Field Based Key Account Manager, Haematology is seeking an experienced KAM to manage Haematology brands in hospital accounts across the Irish market.

You will pro-actively identify opportunities, engage healthcare professionals with clinical evidence, and partner with Medical, Marketing and Market Access to ensure medicines reach patients.

The role requires strong account management, analytical planning, and a proactive, compliant approach within IPHA/EFPIA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in Haematology or secondary care with key account management in a specialist setting.
• Proven sales and business management success in speciality secondary care.
• Strong business sense with solid analytical, planning and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter, proactive problem solver with accountability for results.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Solid understanding of IPHA/EFPIA Code.

Responsibilities

• Develop outstanding product and disease state knowledge and educate healthcare professionals on clinical evidence, indications and product profiles.
• Drive sales performance with independent territory management to meet or exceed targets and budgets.
• Deliver territory analysis, planning and reporting to optimise performance and engage customers across channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Haematology team and with Medical, Marketing and Market Access colleagues to ensure availability of medicines.
• Build and maintain relationships with key prescribers and influencers.
• Manage territory administration – CRM, expenses, reports, etc.
• Conduct business in an ethical, compliant manner per AZ Governance Framework & IPHA/EFPIA Code.
