Job summary

B&Q Galway is seeking a Customer Advisor to join our team and help customers improve their homes. You’ll act as an expert advisor, guiding customers through their projects, driving sales, and ensuring displays and stock are well presented to create an enjoyable shopping experience.

This is a full-time role (36.45 hours per week) on a 3-month fixed-term contract with shifts Monday to Sunday, 6.00am–10.00pm. The notional hourly rate is €15.45, with a Sunday premium of €18.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert advisor who guides customers and their home improvement projects.
• Handle sales, stock management, setup displays and ensure the store looks great.
• Opportunity to learn paint-mixing and timber cutting, with excellent customer service as the main goal.
