Job summary

Right at Home Ireland is seeking Health Care Assistants to support clients in Finglas, Glasnevin and Ballymun. The role offers full-time and part-time hours with ongoing training and career development opportunities.

You will provide person-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain client independence while upholding dignity and respect. Eligible applicants must have appropriate QQI Level 5 qualifications and a valid moving & handling certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two QQI Level 5 modules: Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
• Valid Patient Moving & Handling certificate.
• International Police Clearance, where applicable.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport desirable due to community-based role.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal and practical care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Supporting client independence and social engagement.
• Assisting with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and light household duties.
• Maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
• Reporting concerns, incidents, or changes in condition to management in line with company procedures.
