Job summary

FK International - Financial Search and Selection is recruiting for a newly created Finance Director role in Dublin. The position reports to the CEO and Co-Founder and will bring outsourced functions in-house, lead monthly management reporting, FP&A, and investor communications.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with at least five years in a finance leadership capacity, with hands-on accounts prep, strong commercial sense, and a track record of supporting growth and pricing

• Experience with hands-on accounts preparation is required.
• Strong commercial acumen with pricing, contracts and global expansion insight.

Responsibilities

• Bring outsourced financial functions in-house and lead monthly management reporting.
• Oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for strategic decisions.
• Prepare board packs and report on KPIs; manage investor reporting and communications.
• Support expansion into new markets and geographies; oversee R&D tax credits.

Job description

Newly created position with a fast-growing MedTech SaaS business. Reporting to CEO and Co-Founder, key responsibilities will include:

• Financial Operations – Bringing outsourced functions in-house, monthly management reporting, hands‑on accounts preparation – invoicing, AP, inter‑company accounting, ensuring robust financial controls and governance, managing external accountants and auditors. Review statutory accounts and annual audit process.Role‑up your sleeves in the first year.
• FP&A - Maintaining the company's long‑term financial model, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making, supporting commercial planning and pricing strategies, cashflow and working capital management.
• Management Reporting - Preparing Board packs, presenting financial performance and KPIs.
• Supporting existing investor reporting and Board communications.
• Supporting business expansion into new market markets and geographies world‑wide.
• Managing R&D tax credits.

It is envisaged that the position will develop into a Finance Director position over the medium‑term.

Experience Required

Ideal candidate will have the following background:

• Qualified Accountant with min 5 years’ experience in a finance leadership position, preferably with an early‑stage high growth SaaS or HealthTech/ MedTech business.
• Experience with hands‑on accounts preparation experience – required as part of role.
• Strong commercial acumen – ability to support SLT and commercial team with pricing, contract negotiation, and global business expansion.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
