Artemis Human Capital is delighted to partner with an award-winning health tech business in Dublin to appoint a Finance Director with full responsibility for the commercial strategy and the day-to-day finance function. This role suits a seasoned FD seeking a new challenge and a hands-on leader to drive growth from the ground floor of a scaling business.

You will lead financial operations, governance, and partner with the executive team to optimise profitability and value.

Formación

• 5+ years in a senior leadership role within finance.
• Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience implementing financial controls and driving operational change.
• Background in health tech is ESSENTIAL.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a small finance team; oversee full financial operations including P&L, balance sheet, working capital, forecasting and budgeting, KPI reporting, and process improvements.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to guide senior leadership decisions and support long-term planning.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on pricing, margin control, and sales strategy; deliver data-driven insights.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, insurance, and working capital; support debt/equity finance activities.
• Foster a collaborative, improvement-focused culture and partner with operations, sales and procurement to drive growth.

Artemis Human Capitalare delighted to be working with an exceptional, award winning Health tech business in Dublin to appoint a Finance Director. This is a truly exciting business and you will have full responsibility for the commercial strategy and the day to day finance function

This will suit a seasoned Finance Director looking for a new challenge and a real opportunity to get in on the ground floor of this scaling business.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Lead and develop a small finance team. Oversee full financial operations including P&L, balance sheet and working capital management, forecasting and budgeting, KPI reporting, and process improvements. Play a key role in optimising the use of new finance systems.
• Strategic Planning: Support the senior leadership team by providing financial insight and analysis to guide business decisions. Contribute to long-term planning and the delivery of growth strategies.
• Commercial Insight: Collaborate with commercial teams on pricing, margin control, and sales strategy. Provide data-driven insights to inform and influence decision-making at a senior level.
• Treasury & Risk: Manage cash flow, banking relationships, insurance, and working capital. Support debt and equity finance activities as required.
• Leadership & Development: Foster a collaborative, improvement-focused culture within finance and across the wider business. Work closely with senior colleagues in operations, sales and procurement to support organisational growth and efficiency.

Ideal Candidate

• 5 yrs + experience in a Senior leadership role within finance.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience implementing financial controls and driving operational change
• Background in health tech is ESSENTIAL
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
• Commercially astute with a hands-on approach
