Job summary

Camden Recruitment Partners is recruiting for a Head of Compliance at an Irish funds-focused investment firm. The role leads the compliance function, acts as the Designated Person for Regulatory Compliance, and guides senior management on regulatory strategy and governance.

Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee policy development, monitoring, AML framework and regulatory filings, while ensuring robust controls and effective engagement with regulators and service providers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' compliance experience within Irish funds, asset management or the wider investment management industry.
• Strong knowledge of Irish financial services regulation, including UCITS and AIFM Management Company requirements.
• Good understanding of fund structures and the regulatory responsibilities of Management Companies, Fund Administrators and Depositaries.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant professional qualification (LCOI or equivalent) and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the compliance function, maintaining and enhancing the firm's compliance framework, policies, procedures and monitoring programme.
• Act as Designated Person for Regulatory Compliance, providing oversight across the Management Company and regulated fund activities.
• Manage regulatory relationships, acting as a key contact for the Central Bank of Ireland and supporting inspections, enquiries and regulatory filings.
• Monitor regulatory developments, assess business impact and implement required changes to policies, procedures and controls.
• Provide practical compliance and regulatory advice to senior management, colleagues and clients.
• Maintain a strong control environment, including oversight of the compliance risk register, compliance monitoring programme, AML framework, Board and staff training, and outsourced compliance and AML providers.
