Job summary

Baillie Gifford Europe Limited, Dublin, seeks a Senior Compliance Analyst – Regulatory Compliance (PCF-39F) to lead day-to-day monitoring of the regulatory framework and act as a Designated Person. The role requires coordination with the Group Compliance function and reporting to the Board on Irish and EU requirements.

You will work closely with the Risk and Compliance Officer, providing expert advice on UCITS/AIFM regulatory matters and supervising compliance activities with external delegates

Qualifications

• Significant experience in regulatory compliance within asset management or fund management.
• Experience acting as a Designated Person for Regulatory Compliance (PCF-39F) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Irish and EU regulatory framework for UCITS/AIFMs.
• Experience engaging with boards, regulators, delegates and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee regulatory compliance framework and reporting to the Board.
• Provide regulatory advice to senior management on Irish and EU matters.
• Oversee Compliance Monitoring Programme and RADAR process.
• Lead or contribute to regulatory change initiatives and projects.
• Act as main point of contact for Central Bank of Ireland on regulatory matters.
• Manage breach, incident and issue management and record-keeping.
• Oversee second-line oversight of delegates and providers.
• Ensure governance reporting and escalation to the Board.
