Job summary

The Panel in Dublin is seeking a senior compliance lead to own the Irish AIFM compliance programme and contribute to global regulatory initiatives. You will collaborate with the Head of Compliance, EMEA, and engage with product, investor relations, marketing, and operations to ensure rigorous, practical compliance across the business.

You should bring 7–10 years in compliance or governance, deep Irish AIFM knowledge (AIFMD, CP86, CBFD, SFDR, MiFID II, EMIR, DORA) and a proven ability to

• 7–10 years in compliance or governance within ManCo or asset manager.
• Strong practical knowledge of Irish AIFM requirements and applicable frameworks.
• Ability to translate complex regulation into clear, actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own compliance with AIFMD, CP86 and Central Bank of Ireland requirements, including filings.
• Run monitoring, policies, logs, and report breaches to the Board.
• Design frameworks for new funds and distribution across EMEA.
• Advise product, IR, marketing and operations on regulatory matters and review materials.
• Support MLRO on financial crime compliance and regulatory change projects.

Job description

We are delighted to be partnering with a leading global private markets investment manager on a senior compliance hire for their Irish AIFM.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, EMEA in Dublin, you'll lead delivery of the AIFM's compliance programme and support the wider EMEA and global compliance agenda. It's a role with real breadth, a collaborative open-door culture and a firm known for low turnover.

What you’ll do:

• Own compliance with AIFMD, CP86 and Central Bank of Ireland requirements, including regulatory filings
• Run compliance monitoring, policies, procedures and logs, and report outcomes and breaches to the Board
• Design compliance frameworks for new product and fund launches and distribution across EMEA
• Advise product, investor relations, marketing and operations teams, including review of marketing materials and RFPs
• Support the MLRO on financial crime compliance and contribute to global regulatory change projects

What you’ll bring:

• 7 to 10 years in compliance, governance or oversight, ideally at a ManCo or asset manager
• Strong knowledge of the Irish AIFM landscape: AIFMD, CP86, CBFD, SFDR, MiFID II, EMIR, DORA and CBI guidance
• Experience designing and implementing a fund management company compliance programme
• The ability to turn complex regulation into clear, practical advice
• A law or related degree; LCOI or similar is an advantage
