Job summary

NeoDyne, a leading engineering firm based in Cork, seeks an experienced Contract Automation Project Engineer to support a key biopharma site. You will deliver end-to-end upgrades and new installations in GxP and non-GxP environments, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

You will manage scope, schedules, testing, validation, and lifecycle documentation while ensuring compliance with cGMPs and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in automation project delivery.
• Strong understanding of cGMPs, SDLC methodologies, and LEAN/MPS/Six Sigma principles.
• Excellent facilitation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated project management capability.
• Ability to analyse and define business problems and identify solutions.

Responsibilities

• Concept studies and costing.
• Managing the Change Management process.
• Tracking project deliverables.
• Developing and managing project schedules.
• Coordinating stakeholders, vendors, and contractors during project delivery.
• Developing automation scope of works (URS) with System Owner.
• Scoping IT infrastructure requirements (virtual servers, network switches).
• Engaging and managing system integrators.
• Overseeing onsite/offsite automation activities (development, FAT, installation, SAT, UAT).
• Maintaining lifecycle documentation in EDDMS (FDS, RTM, QAP, QASR, FAT, SAT, IOQ).
• Acting as SME for automation project validation and related processes.
