Job summary

NeoDyne is seeking an Automation Engineer to support one of our key client sites on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work with the NeoDyne team to deliver automation expertise across the site and ensure compliant manufacturing operations.

The role will support automation across modernised and legacy manufacturing environments within regulated life sciences settings, contributing to planning, execution and ongoing support of automation projects including new product introductions

Qualifications

Honours degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Experience delivering automation projects in manufacturing.
Strong understanding of PLC-based control systems.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Support design, development, implementation, and maintenance of equipment control systems and industrial automation solutions.
Assist in evaluating system reliability and requirements for upgrades or lifecycle management.
Support automation project requirements in line with planning and maintenance strategies.
Coordinate assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Contribute to delivery of automation project milestones and schedules.
Analyze scope changes and potential schedule and cost impacts.
Communicate with cross-functional teams regarding workflow and deliverables.
Adhere to site engineering standards, quality systems, and company values.
