Job summary

Mount Juliet Estate is seeking a Reservations Agent to be the first point of contact for guest bookings and inquiries. You will handle reservations for bedrooms, answer queries, and cross-sell the estate’s revenue streams in a friendly, professional manner.

Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you will work with Opera or similar PMS and be skilled in guest billing, facilities information, and delivering a high standard of service in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• 1 years’ experience in a similar role with a Reservations System or Front Office Team, Opera an advantage.
• Excellent customer care skills. Proficient IT skills.
• Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential.
• Ability to cope well under pressure.
• Highly motivated, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage guests’ reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard.
• Provide details of hotel facilities and pricing information.
• Impeccable and thorough billing skills.
• Promoting and up selling the estate facilities and amenities.
• Responding efficiently and effectively to guest feedback.
• Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance of the guest’s stay.
