Job summary

RC Hotels (PTE.) LTD. is seeking a Guest Relations Officer at the Front Desk / Lounge to greet guests, manage check-in/check-out, and handle cashiering duties while maintaining high service standards.

You will upsell room rates, respond to guest requests, coordinate with Front Office, and ensure privacy, safety, and accurate information in a multicultural environment. Fluent English and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE A-Level or equivalent; university degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of hotel Front Office experience.
• Computer knowledge and Opera, POS or PMS systems.
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and independently; work in a multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in, check-out, and other cashiering duties.
• Provide a warm welcome upon arrival, handle registration, and issue room keys according to standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by assisting with requests, handling feedback, and providing information and suggestions.
• Manage guests’ mail, messages, and phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Maximise room revenue through up-selling and securing high rates for walk-ins.
• Support and guide Guest Relations Assistants to ensure smooth Front Office operations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the Front Desk and related areas.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, guest privacy, safety, and security procedures.
• Adhere to Credit Card Privacy (PCI) and Cash Float SOP standards.
• Perform related duties or projects as assigned by Front Office leadership.
