Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Ireland is seeking a motivated Food & Beverage Assistant. You will receive training via the Dalata Academy and work under the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager to deliver friendly, efficient service to hotel guests.

Key duties include greeting guests by name, knowledge of food & wine, upselling to boost revenue, and maintaining clean service areas. A hospitality background and flexible hours (mornings/evenings/weekends) are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours (mornings/evenings & weekends).
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.
