Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Dublin is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Assistant to deliver attentive service to hotel guests, greet regulars by name and help create a welcoming dining atmosphere. This role demands flexible shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Previous experience in a hotel or high-volume service is preferred; Micros experience is a plus, and excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment is beneficial.
• All candidates should have previous experience in hospitality or hotels.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are greeted by name.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to guests.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.

Job description

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
