Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort in Ireland is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to provide friendly, professional service across restaurant, bar, breakfast and event areas. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, maintain high cleanliness and assist guests with dietary needs and allergens.

The role requires effective teamwork, accuracy at tills, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction, with opportunities to develop within a four-star hospitality setting on a picturesque

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, restaurant or hotel environment is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings when required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly.
• Prepare and serve food, beverages, tea and coffee to brand standards.
• Set up and clear tables, restaurant areas, bars and function rooms.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and personal presentation.
• Provide information about menus, dietary requirements and allergens.
• Handle guest requests and resolve queries professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Operate tills and process cash and card payments accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of menus and assist with upselling where appropriate.
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar and management teams to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all food safety, health and safety, licensing and company procedures.
• Restock and maintain service areas during shifts.
• Support colleagues and other departments during busy periods.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction and departmental targets.
