Job summary

Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort, managed by Windward Management, is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant in Ireland. You will provide service across restaurant, bar, breakfast and events, handling orders and payments while maintaining high standards.

Role emphasizes guest satisfaction, teamwork and adherence to safety, with weekend/evening shifts possible. Prior hospitality experience is helpful.

• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly.
• Prepare and serve food, beverages, tea and coffee to standard.
• Set up and clear tables, restaurant areas, bars and function rooms.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Provide information about menus, dietary requirements and allergens.
• Handle guest requests and resolve queries professionally.
• Operate tills and process cash and card payments accurately.
• Upsell where appropriate and stay knowledgeable on menus.
• Work with kitchen, bar and management teams for smooth service.
• Follow food safety, health & safety and licensing procedures.
• Replenish stock and maintain service areas during shifts.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to guest satisfaction.
