Job summary

Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team for Breakfast and Lunch service, Monday to Friday. You will greet guests, recommend dishes, and ensure top service standards in a busy hotel environment.

The ideal candidate will have hospitality experience, excellent English communication, and a professional, friendly demeanor. On-site training, growth opportunities, and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

Experience in high volume/fast paced Food & Beverage environment is desirable.
Passion for hospitality.
Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluent English and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and deliver high quality service during Breakfast and Lunch service.
Know the menu and specials, recommend dishes and explain ingredients/allergens.
Ensure all prep is complete before opening and maintain cleanliness after service.
Possess knowledge of drinks including wines and upsell where appropriate.
Operate in line with Food Hygiene Regulations and hotel policies.
