Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is hiring a Food & Beverage Assistant to provide friendly, efficient service to hotel guests. You’ll receive training through our Dalata Academy and opportunities to grow within the team.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will greet guests by name, upsell where possible, understand our menu, and help maintain a clean, welcoming bar and restaurant environment. A flexible schedule, weekend shifts and prior hospitality experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or hotel experience is essential.
• Role requires mornings/evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.
