Lyrath Estate Hotel is seeking an Experienced Reservations Agent in Kilkenny to maximise room bookings and guest satisfaction by handling reservations and enquiries with a professional approach.

Reporting to the Revenue Manager, you will manage phone, email and online enquiries, upsell hotel services, and maintain knowledge of room types, packages, and local attractions. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations role is required.
• Strong customer-facing skills and hospitality mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Ability to work in a busy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle telephone, email, and online reservation enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Input, update, and manage guest bookings in the reservation system.
• Maximise room sales and revenue by upselling hotel services and packages.
• Liaise with reception to resolve any guest billing queries.
