Job summary

Cork International Hotel is seeking a Full-Time Receptionist to join our guest-facing team. You will greet and register guests, manage reservations, and support daily front office operations with a focus on service excellence.

Ideal candidates will have guest-facing hospitality experience, strong communication and IT skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers a supportive team and opportunities for development within our hotel group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a guest facing role preferably in a hotel.
• Good communication and IT skills.
• Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Receive and register guests on arrival using names.
• Ensure documentation for registration and checkout aligns with SOPs.
• Handle reservations in line with rate management and selling guidelines.
• Maximise in-house selling and be aware of sales opportunities.
• Post pay-in vouchers and record cash received.
• Maintain security of property and cash and ensure safety compliance.
• Be familiar with room availability, float accuracy, and hotel policies.
