Job summary

Fallon & Byrne in Dublin is seeking a Full Time Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen production team. You will help prepare and produce sandwiches, prepared meals and other items for our Foodhall and Dining areas.

Training will be provided to develop your knowledge of HACCP, food safety and stock control. You will work closely with the Kitchen Supervisor and team, following recipes and quality standards, and taking on additional responsibilities as skills develop.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food production experience is beneficial but not required.
• Knowledge of HACCP/food safety is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen production team with preparation and production of sandwiches, meals and other items.
• Follow recipes, methods, instructions and quality standards.
• Assist with different areas of food preparation and production as needed.
• Adhere to HACCP, food safety, allergen management, hygiene and stock rotation procedures.
• Maintain clean, organised and hygienic work areas and equipment.
• Work efficiently during busy production periods while upholding safety and quality.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors about production requirements and issues.
• Support stock, storage, packaging, labeling and waste minimisation where required.
